Secure Payments

Last updated: 18 March 2026

At Runzil, the security of your transactions is our priority. We use the highest market security standards to guarantee a peaceful booking experience.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Our payment module is secured by Stripe. To provide you with the best experience, the payment methods offered adapt dynamically based on your device and country of residence.

Depending on their availability during the validation of your basket, you can use:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
  • E-wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay.
  • Transfers: Classic bank transfer.
  • Local payment methods: Bancontact, iDEAL, MB Way, MobilePay, Revolut Pay, Satispay, Twint.

2. Transaction Security (3D Secure Protocol)

  • SSL/TLS Encryption: All data exchanged between your browser and our servers (Cloudflare) or Stripe’s servers is encrypted end-to-end. We never store your credit card numbers on our servers.
  • 3D Secure (Strong Authentication): In accordance with European regulations (PSD2) and French legislation, a validation from your bank (via a banking app or SMS code) will be requested to finalize the payment. This helps effectively combat fraud.

3. Security Deposit (Bond)

We do not collect the security deposit at the time of booking.

A few days before your arrival, you will receive a secure link to our partner Tyllt.

You will be asked to perform a simple bank pre-authorization (hold).

  • No amount is debited from your account.
  • This operation does not affect the limit of your credit card.

The hold is automatically released after your departure, provided the accommodation is returned in good condition.

4. Payment Schedule and Rates

Unless otherwise stated (last-minute offers requiring full payment), payment is generally made in several installments (e.g., deposit upon booking, intermediate deposit, and balance at D-10).

The exact schedule corresponding to your rate is clearly displayed in the summary before you validate your payment.

For more details on cancellation and refund conditions, please consult our Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs).
